It recesses into a standard 2″ × 4″ framed wall without excessive construction, or hangs on the surface with barely any projection—edge panels and trim for both installs come in the box. It needs no venting, and it can plug in or be hardwired, so either way it ends up reading as part of the wall , not an appliance bolted to it.
